Watercolours (Beginners)

Painting in watercolours for the beginner. Developing painting skills using ‘follow me’ demos. Students will learn basic perspective, how to paint washes, and develop good watercolour techniques.

Watercolours (Mixed ability)

Term starts 10th January 2012
Painting in watercolours for those with some experience and confident beginners. Developing painting skills using demos and working from photographs, students will learn how to paint washes and watercolour technique.

Watercolours (Intermediate)

Tutor: Caroline Mannouch
Thursday 10-12
Term starts 12th January 2012
Develop your watercolour painting techniques and skills using colour, texture and tone to create balanced compositions. The course will include demonstrations, one-to-one tuition and group discussions. A basic knowledge of watercolour painting is recommended.

Watercolours (Intermediate)

This course is designed to further improve students’ watercolour skills, focusing on both traditional and contemporary approaches. Students will be encouraged to produce exciting and interesting compositions using a variety of methods. Different subjects will be explored, including quiet reflective lakes, stormy waters and dramatic scenery. A basic knowledge of watercolour painting is recommended.
