Thursdays 2.30-4.30 Starting January 15th

On the surface Chester is the pretty and historic county town of Cheshire. However, this course will unravel the many layers of its past and investigate the mixed fortunes it has experienced over the centuries – from its beginnings as a high status Roman fortress to the present day.
