Local History (A) Tutor: Jim O’Neil

Tuesdays 10-12

This course will look at the settlement and development of Wirral and introduce some sources for local history. There will be field trips to places of historic interest. There may be a small extra charge for visiting speakers and/or field trips. This will be discussed on the first day of the course.

This course will be based upon an A-Z of Wirral, plus maybe a little of Liverpool. There will be field trips to places of historic interest. There may be a small extra charge for visiting speakers and/or field trips. This will be discussed on the first day of the course.

Local History (D) Tutor: Chris Thompson

Mondays 10-12

A thematic study of Wirral and its fight against war, disease and pestilence, together with some of the great achievements of its inhabitants.
