The Making Of The Modern World (1750-2001)

Tutor: David Owens
Tuesday 2.30-4.30
Term starts 24th April 2012

From the battlefields of the USA and Europe, via the mountains of Cuba and the jungles of Vietnam, nations and movements (and their leaders) have risen and fallen. This course will look at the people and events that have shaped our modern world, from the French Revolution to the attack on the Twin Towers.
