Term starts 29th April 2014

Understanding the camera controls and settings to capture a range of photographs including landscapes, macros and portraits. Transferring photographs and videos from the camera to a computer. Use basic computer effects to enhance your photographs. At the heart of photography lies the frame and how we compose elements within it to best effect. Few of us though spend time consciously exploring the skills required to do that successfully time after time and too many of us just hope to get lucky! By taking a practical approach this course sets out to guide you through exercises that allow you to see, in turn, the effects of each factor involved in a successful composition.
