| Thurs April 18th |
Birkenhead Priory |
This is an afternoon stroll starting at 1:00pm. After walking from Hamilton Square we will visit the Priory (the oldest standing building on Merseyside), after which there will be opportunity to snap the Liverpool waterfront from the best vantage point, and finish by photographing inside one of Birkenhead’s most historic pubs.
|
| Mon April 29th |
Ellesmere Port National Waterways Museum ** |
There is a wide range of subjects to photograph and enjoy, not just canal boats! All for an additional admission charge of just £5.50.
|
| Wed May 8th |
Chester |
Every list of summer walks must always include a visit to Chester. This will take the form of a new and
different route – but the ‘same old’ finish in the Real Ale Albion Pub, a favourite of many because it is largely
unchanged for 100 or so years!
|
| Tues May 14th |
Hurleston Canal Locks** |
Pleasant Cheshire countryside with the chance to picture some canal boats and the complex of locks.
|
| Fri May 17th |
Bidston Hill |
Our route will take us past the landmark windmill and we will hunt for photographic possibilities in the woods.
|
| Wed May 22nd |
Grappenhall Village** |
Everyone who visits the beautiful Cheshire village falls in love with it mainly because you
could (almost) be seeing it as it was 100/150 years ago. See fine houses we all wish we could afford,
two pubs (both of which we will sample), a fine old church and the loveliest of canal views.
